Dmitry started his carrier at the age of 7 by taking Ballroom and Latin dance classes at the famous Dance Sport Club "Victoria", Sevastopol Ukraine (now Sevastopol Academic Dance Theatre ). Through the years of studying, competing, and performing on different stages around the World, professional dancing became the most important part of his life. Here in Canada, as a member of the Canadian DanceSport Federation (CDF), he passes his knowledge and experience to others while developing and growing as a dancer and a dance teacher.

As a Formation Team dancer: 

• 1991 – 1st place, Championship of USSR
• 1992 – 2nd place, German Open Champ., ST
• 1993 – 3rd place, European Championship, ST
• 1994 – 4th place, World Championship, LA
• 1994 – 3rd place in World Championship, ST
• 1991 – 1995 – competitions in Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Holland, France, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia."

In personal dancing:

• 1992 – 1st place in Ukraine Championship (Juniors) ST 
• 1995 – 1st place in Holland Masters, (Juniors) ST, couples
• 1995 – 1999 1-st place in all Israel Championships in
  Latin, Standard, and 10-dance divisions in Amateurs
  1998 - 6th place EU championship in Holland,
  10 dances in Amateurs;
  1999 – 2nd place in Israel Championship, LA in Professional.

Dmitry has 30 years of dancing and more than 15 years of teaching experience.

On top of his personal and team achievements as a choreographer, performer and businessman Dmitry was able to organize, choreograph and successfully promote his own professional dance show, which was successfully performing on many prestigious stages of Israel and abroad. Before moving to Canada Dmitry had been teaching Ballroom and Latin dancing at his own professional dance studio in Israel for more than 10 years. Nowadays, he resides and teaches in Vancouver, BC, and neighborhoods.
